This ideally set country house, is only a 50 minute drive from Florence airport, and 40 from Pisa airport, 10 km from Svizzera Pesciatina, the nearest 18-hole golf course in Montecatini, and the thermal spas and steamed caves of Grotta Giusti, 12 kms from the magnificent Lucca and only half an hour to the beautiful Versilia sandy beaches. Siena, Volterra and S. Gimignano are all near.If you have children with you make sure you don't miss a visit to Collodi, Pinocchio's village (and liar's village). The local town Pescia is about a mile away there all several Supermarkets, Bars, Pubs and Restaurants here where you can enjoy shopping, eateing out or a drink in a local Bar. Worth a visit is the thermal town Montecatini again you can enjoy shopping and visit the thermals spas and a must is an authentic Italian coffee at “Caffè New York” created by Gianpaolo’s grandfather, Sor Ugo Incerpi, in the 1930’s and this day run by his family. Montecatini, in the past, was the haunt of the rich and famous including the cronwed heads of Europe who used to go there “ to take the waters “.
